There was never a time we could not reach the people who could answer questions.
The most enjoyable part was being able to reach out to Shane, Patty, Marc, Fred, and Michelle to get real time answers to our questions. In visiting with others that have built a home, the primary obstacle seems to be lack of being able to speak with your builder. In our case, there was never a time we could not reach the persons that could answer questions. Everyone was friendly, anxious to help, and always gave informative responses that helped us. This team is great, and we felt like we were not only clients but friends.
Michelle was so wonderful during the designing process. She is a true professional who helped us through many difficult decisions. She was knowledgeable, fun, and knows her stuff.
We have told everyone… that we had NO bad experiences. You all make this fun, set expectations at the beginning, and most importantly communicated with us any time we needed to address something.

What Was Enjoyable: The Legacy Team! Seriously! They make the whole process enjoyable and less stressful. With two young kids, both of us having full time jobs, finding time to make selections was difficult for us. Michelle was amazing and kept us on track and efficient. She knew what we were going for and how to steer us in the right direction. When I say the WHOLE TEAM is amazing I am not lying.
Advice For Others: Look at what you really want in a house and understand the why behind it. Listen to the team’s professional advice – They are experts.

I feel like the entire Legacy team knows that we built because we needed a school that could support our kids, and we got to you through (name omitted). I remember when (name omitted) asked if we wanted to meet any other builders—it was after Shane showed up to a Sunday meeting and was prepared and knowledgeable, and I said, no—if you trust them, that is enough. It didn’t seem like the right decision from the logical side; it did seem like it from a fit side. Previously, we interviewed a few builders, even though the one we hired had a family connection to us.
Advice For Others: Enjoy the process—trust the experts to do their work. Spend more time thinking about what you want your house to look and feel like, versus trying to keep track of what is going on in the build, and focus on making sure that you are ready for your design appointments based on the look/feel that you are going for.
